New
- Added developer-focused guidance to the website showing how code, reference pages, and Codex, ChatGPT, or Claude Code sessions can stay connected within one project context.
- Added performance tracing for Current Resources refreshes, Codex title reads, and deep-link capture to make resource-recognition delays easier to diagnose.
Improved
- Improved current-session recognition for newer Codex versions: the menu bar resource panel can capture a stable thread deep link and recover the accurate title from the local session index.
- Optimized Codex Accessibility traversal to prioritize confirmed title regions, stop cleanly when cancelled, and avoid unnecessary repeated index parsing.
- Refocused the website homepage, hero messaging, and project-resumption examples on local resource linking for developer workflows.
Fixed
- Fixed Codex resource titles falling back to a generic name or being affected by unrelated interface text.
- Fixed selected text potentially interfering with current Codex thread recognition in Current Resources.

New
- Focused LinkContext on explicit local resource linking: the current app, window, focused element, selected text, and supported app metadata are read only when you open Current Resources, refresh it, or invoke a resource action.
- Added retired-data cleanup and database migration to remove obsolete local records, caches, and metadata while preserving existing resources, confirmed links, and usage history.
- Current Resources now clearly separates the current resource, confirmed links, and recently used resources, with link relationships stored separately from usage history.
Improved
- Removed the startup permission block and screen recording requirement. The app starts normally and requests Accessibility access only when an action needs it.
- Tightened the privacy boundary: resource recognition and relationship data stay on this Mac, and LinkContext does not use AI models to process work content.
- Simplified resource resolution, storage, and settings architecture, removed unavailable configuration and diagnostic entries, and reduced unnecessary background work.
Fixed
- Corrected resource action menu shortcuts so Copy Link uses Command-C.
- Added Command-V for Link Copied Resource and synchronized the menu item and test key mappings.

New
- Added a step-by-step onboarding flow with a product demonstration video showing how to capture resources, connect related work, and return to it later.

- Added the ability to finish first-run onboarding while permissions are still being prepared, with a clear Done action for permission recovery.
Improved
- Moved Onboard to the top of the menu bar menu so it can replay the complete onboarding flow instead of opening only the permissions page.
- Refined onboarding window sizing, welcome-page layout, privacy copy, and the Current Resources guidance shown at the end of onboarding.
- Added accessibility identifiers, labels, and expanded English, Japanese, and Korean localization for the onboarding flow.
Fixed
- Fixed onboarding being unable to continue before permissions were complete, unclear completion actions, and missing accessibility metadata on onboarding controls.
