Local data

Review, clean up, and delete data

Resource Manager lets you review and delete captured resources individually. Settings → Storage can clear caches, saved OCR text, and older backups, and can reveal LinkContext’s local data folder.

The current version does not provide a complete data-export interface. Contact support for complete-data assistance or requests concerning purchase data.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I install LinkContext?

Download the DMG from the official Downloads page, open it, and drag LinkContext into Applications. On first launch, macOS verifies its Developer ID signature and Apple notarization ticket before you grant the requested permissions.

What if LinkContext still reports missing permissions?

Confirm that LinkContext is enabled under both Accessibility and Screen Recording in Privacy & Security, then quit and reopen LinkContext.

What if the recovery email does not arrive?

Confirm that you used the purchase email and check spam. Recovery links expire after 15 minutes; after multiple requests, use the newest email.

What if macOS prevents the downloaded app from opening?

Download a fresh copy from the official Downloads page, confirm your macOS version is supported, and compare its SHA-256. Avoid repackaged third-party sources. If Gatekeeper still blocks the verified official installer, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, confirm the blocked app is LinkContext, and use the system-provided Open Anyway action. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove quarantine protection with commands.

How do I uninstall and completely remove local data?

Moving LinkContext from Applications to the Trash does not remove local resources or settings. For a complete removal, quit LinkContext first. In Finder choose Go → Go to Folder…, open ~/Library/Application Support/LinkContext, and move that LinkContext folder to the Trash. Then open ~/Library/Preferences and move tech.flyee.LinkContext.plist to the Trash. Emptying the Trash is irreversible, so confirm that you no longer need the data first.
